Is Foundera a founder house or a hacker house?
Both, on purpose. Roughly half the house is building companies on the commercial side and half is shipping code: remote engineers, indie hackers, and people building on the current generation of AI tooling. Read more about the founder house or the hacker house side.

How much does it cost to live at Foundera?
Our all-inclusive monthly prices are $1,000 for a small room, $1,250 for a large room, and $1,380 for a private nature cabin. Every option includes utilities, high-speed WiFi, daily cleaning, a dedicated coworking desk and office chair, and access to every shared amenity: pool, jacuzzi, ice bath, kitchen, and 4K movie theater.

Does Foundera include food?
No, residents prefer to order delivery food from the huge selection of healthy and affordable restaurants via Grab and Gojek apps. We tried bringing in a private chef once, yet people still preferred the option to eat out or order delivery (Bali food is very affordable).

How is Foundera different from a regular coliving in Bali?
Every resident is a founder or operator, so the environment is optimized for company growth rather than tourism. The house runs monthly founder events like skill exchanges and weekly goal setting, alongside weekly dinners, group trips, and BBQs. Foundera residents have collectively raised over $2M.
What’s the age range of people at Foundera?
Our age range is usually 22–35, but we’ve had 19 year olds and 40 year olds in the past.
What’s the girl vs guy ratio?
We try to keep it half guys, half girls. We think it’s good to have an equal balance in the villa.
What’s everyone building?
About 60% of people are deep in AI stuff: building apps and websites, providing services using Claude, Codex and AI agents, creating content, or running ads across social media. The other 40% are building in fitness, real estate, coaching, trading and ecommerce. One time, we even had a guy building robots!
How many people are staying there?
We have 10 bedrooms, which we think is the perfect amount. Everyone becomes friends and knows each other, while also consistently meeting new people.
